Thank you for the welcome! I think I saw you on Diane Gaston's blog too, you want sheep & llamas. That would be fun! I will make do with the Golden Retriever & two Chihuahuas for now.

Hi Christine ~ Uh OH...I'm kicking around on the Internet just for the heck of it...and I stumbled upon Diane Gaston, which led me to you....two authors I have not read! But I suspect I will really really really like! I very recently ran across an old Laurie McBain book, am PLOWING through it, loving it so much (read her a million years ago) I tried to find her online. Found you and Diane Gaston instead...over and over.... So I think its fate! I will now be looking for one of each of you guys books. Hurray! Oh, hello, by the way. Sorry, I sound like a crazy person. I'm not.

An interesting question.

I hadn't really thought about it. But then, I routinely forget birthday's and anniversaries in my own family.

I will ask the editors at M & B if they are planning anything. If not (or maybe even if so) I will ask around and get something going amongst the other Regency authors I know.

We really should have a party of some kind.

Next year, 2011, marks the bicentennial of the beginning of the Regency in England. The Prince of Wales took the oath which made him Regent at Carlton House on 6 February 1811.

I was wondering if you, or Harlequin, were planning to do anything to mark this historic milestone? As a lover of Regency romances, and of yours in particular, I think it would be nice if something was done to celebrate the bicentennial of the beginning of our favorite period of history.

Regards,

Kat
